Faculty of Health Sciences Research Day, 2018
On behalf of the Faculty, it is my pleasure to invite you to the Health Sciences Research Day 2018. This biennially organised event is a premier platform for showcasing the research excellence undertaken by staff and students within the Faculty. As an added bonus, this year’s event will serve as a prelude to the Faculty of Health Sciences Centenary celebrations next year. We hope you join us as we celebrate #Towards 100 Years of Excellence.

As in previous years the 2018 Research Day will run along 5 themed tracks, to accommodate the broad spectrum of research interests. These include: Infectious Diseases, Diseases of Lifestyle; Education, Policy and Systems; Molecular and Comparative Biosciences and Clinical Sciences and Therapeutics for Health.

Prestigious prizes will be available in both the staff and student categories for best oral and poster presentations. Presenters and presentations (oral and poster) are restricted to the staff, registered postgraduate students, affiliated post-doctorates and researchers in the Faculty of Health Sciences. However, we would like to extend an open invitation to all undergraduate and postgraduate students, other staff members of the University and general public to register to attend the event.

On this website you will find the necessary information regarding the abstract submission and registration for the event, but feel free to contact us should you require any further details.

We hope you join us for what promises to be fascinating display of locally conducted research that has international relevance.

With best wishes,
Mark A. Killick
